PURPOSE:To enable designing a compensation lens curved surface able to express a deflection characteristic owned by a deflection device easily by forming a curved surface to compensate a rotational symmetrical component beforehand on one side surface, and by compensating non-rotational symmetrical component only on other surface. CONSTITUTION:In casse when a necessary advance distance of a light source position in response to an increase of a deflection angle gamma, so-called DELTAp is making extreme variation, a curve 18 of a required gamma-DELTAp characteristic is separated into a curve 19 and a hatched portion 20 indicating a deviation from it, gamma-DELTAp characteristic indicated by the curve 19 is compensated by a design of the curved surface 11, and gamma-DELTAp characteristic of a portion indicated by the hatch is compensated by the curved surface 12. The curved surface 11 to compensate the rotational symmetrical component presents a concave lens shape fundamentally. The newly designed curved surface side is good only to compensate the non- rotational symmetrical component, therefore a reasonable curved surface formation becomes possible. |
