PURPOSE:To let smooth automatic original feeding be done by performing destaticizing of the orignal platen surface from the side opposite from the original placement side of the original placement member while discharging the original before the next original comes. CONSTITUTION:A destaticizing needle 15 is held in the position away in the scanning direction A by a distance l1 from the exposure opening, and moves in the scanning A direction together with moving mirrors 4, 6. Upon ending of the exposure scanning, it moves in the B direction together with the moving mirrors 4, 6, but at this time, the original 8 which has completed exposure is also moved in the B direction while sliding on glass plate 3. The next original is sent out from a feed part 10 synchronously with the original 8 by leaving the specified spacing l2 larger than l1. While maintaining the position delayed from the trailing end of the original 8 and advanced from the leading end of the next original, the destaticizing needle 15 moves in the B direction to destaticize the glass position where no original is placed. This considerably enhances the destaticizing effect. |
