PURPOSE:To shorten testing time by executing data writing and reading simultaneously from plural small areas when a specific designation exists. CONSTITUTION:Since one of block starting signals START0-3 is turned to ''1'' at the normal writing or reading, data are written or read out in/from one of blocks in a storage area 1. At the reading time, ''0''s are outputted from blocks other than the selected one and an OR circuit 3 extracts the sum of ''0''s or only the output of the selected block. At the testing time, block starting signals START0-3 outputted from a control circuit 2 to respective blocks BLOCK0-3 in the storage area 1 are turned to ''0'', so that the respective blocks can be simultaneously tested. |
