PURPOSE:To achieve selective discharge of required number of sheet papers by moving sheet paper containing means selected by an elevatable moving means to the paper discharge side then elevating the paper discharge means through a linear motor. CONSTITUTION:Upon selection of paper tray 2 of required size through a selection switch, a motor 15 will rotate reversely to retreat a projected tray 2 while the first and second elevatable members 12, 17 are elevated by a motor 10 and a linear motor 18 and stop upon facing of a light receiving element 43 with a light emission element 42 of selected tray 2. Then, the motor 15 is driven for predetermined time to move the selected tray 2 to the paper discharge side while the linear motor 18 is rotated reversely to lower the second elevatable member 17 by predetermined distance to contact with a paper discharge roll 26. The sheet paper 1 is discharged through the paper discharge roll 26 then fed through carry rolls 35-38 to the paper receiving section 41 of copy machine 40. |
