The propellor blades are adjustable in order to match their pitch to the axial and tangential following current in different parts of the revolution. The inclined plate is fitted with angular adjustment in the hub of the propellor and is retained against the rotation of the propellor by a backwardly projecting shaft centred with that of the propellor, and locked against rotation by the rudder of the vessel. |
