Safety device for motively closable apertures, especially for window apertures in vehicles, which possesses, between the frame of the aperture and the closing edge running on this and belonging to the moved part, a signal transmitter extending over the entire run-on zone and taking the form of a tube which is filled with an electrically conductive liquid and which, when current flows through, forms an electrical resistor which increases its value when pressure is exerted on the tube. This value is compared in a switching device with a threshold value. When the latter is exceeded, the switching device triggers a switching operation which interrupts or reverses the closing movement.
