PURPOSE:To enable measurement of moisture by crushing surely grains even if the grains are less contained in a storage tank and to obviate wear of a fixed electrode by the flowing-down grains while moisture is not measured by attaching a moisture meter to the side face of a cylindrical body connected to a dropping port for the dried grains, projecting the fixed electrode thereof into the cylindrical body and providing a shutter to the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:A moisture meter W is attached to the side face of a cylindrical body 7 below a dropping port 6 and the fixed electrode 1 thereof is projected into the cylindrical body. A shutter 10 shuts off the body 7 during circulation and drying of grains. A part of the grains transferred from the top end of a lifting machine H into a storage tank A accumulate through the port 6 onto the shutter 10 in the body 7. The shutter 10 is slided and a discharging cylinder 4 is removed from a return port 9 to take out the grains upon ending of drying. The shutter 10 is slided to fill the accumulated grains through the port 9 into a drying chamber B and to join gradually the same with the flowing-down grain group in the case of measuring the moisture of the grains during drying. When the grains are filled in the cylinder 4 and the body 7, the moving electrode 2 of the meter W is advanced toward the electrode 1, by which the grains are crushed and the moisture is measured. |
