PURPOSE:To obtain a toner superior in fixability to plain paper and prevented from offset trouble by using a copolymer of a specified aminoalkylvinyl ether or its deriv. and another monomer for the outer shells of a core substance contg. a pressure fixable component. CONSTITUTION:A toner is prepared by using, for the outer shells of a core substance contg. a pressure fixable component, such as polyethylene wax, a copolymer of aminoalkylvinyl ether represented by the shown formula (R1 is H or 1- 5C alkyl, R2, R3 are each H or 1-20C alkyl, and (n) is 1-5), its deriv., or its quaternary ammonium salt and a monomer having another vinyl group, such as styrene or (meth)acrylic acid. As a result, the obtained encapsulated toner is good in electrostatic charge controllability of each particle and superior in pressure fixability. A one-component type toner contg. a magnetic powder for a core substance may be prepared. |
