<p>PURPOSE:To run stably a tape even when it is driven in the reverse direction by moving a limiter post out of a tape cassette while a magnetic tape is hooked from inside the notched part of the tape cassette. CONSTITUTION:The limiter post 24 atop of a rotating arm 23 which rotates around a fulcrum 22 is provided while inserted into the notched part 2 of the tape cassette 1. The limiter post 24 is provided with collar parts 25a and 25b at a distance of magnetic tape width. The rotating arm 23 is rotated in loading associatively with the drawing-out operation of the tape to draw the tape out. Then, a pinch roller arm 20 is rotated after the tape is loaded, and pressed against a capstan 3. At this time, the limiter post 24 is moved out of the cassette and never impede said press-contacting operation. The limiter post 24 in said state is rotated by about 40 deg. from the starting state wherein it is inserted into the cassette, the magnetic tape 5 is wound around the post 24 by about 180 deg., and the collar parts 25a and 25b specify a tape run position.</p> |
