PURPOSE:To promote atomization of an injected fuel and stabilize an injection angle by forming the internal wall surface of an orifice for guiding fuel injection into a cylindrical shape on the swirl orifice side and into a divergent conical shape on the fuel injection side. CONSTITUTION:When a ball valve 7 is separated from the seat surface of a nozzle 6, a metering section for a fuel is formed, and flows from a filter 10 and a fuel passage 11 into said metering section. After its passage through the metering section, it reaches a fuel guide hole 8a opening to a swirl orifice 8. After provided a spiral motion through the guide hole 8a, it is atomized in a spiral chamber 12 and optimized in its injection angle. In this instance, the internal wall surface of an orfice 9a is cylindrically shaped on the swirl orifice 8 side and divergently and conically shaped on the fuel injection side, respectively. Hereby, atomization of the injected fuel is promoted while an injection angle is stabilized. |
