PURPOSE:To make fine adjustment for speed and the adjustment of a rocking angle and its range from the outside performable without stopping the operation, by performing the lower swing rocking of a polishing ray with an air or hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A polishing holder 18 presses a lens L to a polishing tray 15 by energizing force in a spring 19. On the other hand, the polishing tray 15 makes a sleeve foot 17 rock centering on a bearing 16 to be turned to a curvature center of the polishing tray 15 by means of expansion or contraction in an air or hydraulic cylinder 1 via a swing point 2, thus polishing takes place. Hereat, when rocked as much as about 15-20 deg., in case of the rocking direction being upward, it can be rocked with the same operation force irrespective of an expansion of the cylinder, but in case of being downward, the speed can be set up with only adjustment of the exhaust speed of the cylinder 1, and also its fine adjustment is easily performable. In addition, the rocking angle and its range from the outside are also performable without stopping the operation. |
