In a deflection fitting for safety belts, the supporting parts of which are formed by a round-steel member and by a fastening tab, there is inserted into the round-steel member a burr-free and seam-free belt-guide saddle which serves for improving the belt guidance, especially at the roundings of the member, and which is anchored in its position by a plastic casing. The plastic casing forms at the same time a tongue for limiting the belt-guide gap. It moreover retains a plastic bush which is inserted into a recess of the fastening tab and which, together with the plastic casing and the belt-guide saddle, completely encloses the metallic parts of the deflection fitting.
