PURPOSE:To obtain a two-component pressure-fixative developer which is hard to spend and does not decrease the pressure fixative property of toner to paper by using such a developer that toner and carriers consist of pressure-fixative microcapsules. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic developer consisting of toner and carriers uses carriers of <=50mum formed by coating core materials made of magnetic power with hard, load-controllable resin in a pressure-fixative binder. The impulsive force of the carriers to the toner in a developing device is weakened to prevent spending, and the carriers are made pressure-fixative to prevent a decrease in the fixative property of the toner to paper and damage to a fixing roller even if carriers stick to an electorstatic latent image on a photosensitive body together with the toner. |
