PURPOSE:To guide infrared rays from a target in a gimbals-axis direction to an infrared detector which is fixed outside of a gimbals all the time by controlling a reflecting mirror installed at the center of rotation of the gimbals so that it oscillates by an angle having constant relation with the angle of oscillation of the gimbals. CONSTITUTION:Incident infrared light is converged by a condenser lens 1 on the gimbals, reflected by the movable reflecting mirror 3 installed in the center of center of the gimbals, and then made into parallel light through a relay lens 4, and the parallel light is passed through a fixed reflecting mirror 5 and an image forming lens 6 to form an image on the infrared detector 7. When the gimbals axis varies by an angle theta to the axis (a) of the device, the movable reflecting mirror 3 is controlled to vary by theta/2 to the axis (a), so incident infrared light invariably parallel to the gimbals axis is image-formed on the infrared detector 7. |
