PURPOSE:To positively suck the remaining burnt gas in a cylinder during an exhaust stroke and improve the filling efficiency of the new air by providing an injection nozzle of pressurized gas on the exhaust passage of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A flow amplifier 9 is provided on an exhaust passage 5, and a pressurized gas feed source 10 such as a pump is connected to this flow amplifier 9. The flow amplifier 9 has a high-pressure chamber 11 fed with the pressurized gas on the outer periphery, and the high-pressure chamber 11 faces the exhaust passage 5 via an injection nozzle 12. A small lip 13 is provided on the rear of the injection nozzle 12, the lip 13 deflects the pressurized gas injected through the injection nozzle 12 so that the gas flows along the inner wall face of the exhaust passage 5. By injecting the pressurized gas through the injection nozzle 12, the upstream gas is sucked, and the flow is amplified about 20-25 times and is blown out downstream. |
