<p>A slider (17) for a track (10), such as the track of a friction stay, comprises a slider body (17) adapted to be slidably received in the track, and the slider body includes a recess (22) having a cam (24) mounted therein. Rotation of the cam causes it to bear against the sides of the recess, which are thereby slightly deformed. This deformation increases the frictional engagement of the slider with the track.</p> |
