PURPOSE:To improve the engine performance and the service life of ignition pump while to reduce the noise of pump by mounting a prefeed pump and a check valve in the fuel piping system. CONSTITUTION:In order to stabilize the performance of an injection pump 1, a prefeed pump 23 for bringing the fuel inlet 2 side into positive pressure is provided in the fuel feed pipe 26 while in order to prevent droppage of fuel in the injection pump 1, a check valve 32 is provided in the overflow pipe 31. Consequently, the injection pump 1 and the fuel filter 25 are continuously filled with fuel even under engine stoppage resulting in prevention of foam. |
