PURPOSE:To improve the draw off of a molten metal from a sectorial ladle by supporting the sectorial ladle placed on a moving carriage in such a way that said ladle can be turned by a revolving shaft intersecting orthogonally to the traveling direction of the carriage thereby rising the pouring side of the ladle or lowering the side opposite to the pouring port. CONSTITUTION:A rail 4 for advancing and retreating intersecting orthogonally to the traveling direction of a moving carriage 3 on a traveling rail 1 is provided to said carriage and the rear part of a stage 7 is supported to the supporting part 6 of a carriage 5 for placing a ladle by a shaft 8. A sectorial ladle 10 is attached thereto turnably around the center 11 of a revolving axis intersecting orthogonally to the rail 4. The ladle 10 contg, the molten metal is turned in the arrow direction around the center 11 to pour the molten metal through a pouring port 15 into the sprue of a mold in the stage of pouring. When the inside of the casting mold is filled with the molten metal, the ladle 10 is rotated re- verse to stop pouring and at the same time a fluid cylinder 9 provided between the stage 7 and the carriage 5 is actuated to lift the port 15 side. The draw-off of the molten metal from the sectorial ladle is thus improved. |
