The invention relates to a riding saddle with its cloth. It consists mainly of two parts, the first being a very small saddle-tree held between upper and lower elements. In the form of a cantle quarter seat which constitutes the second part. The latter is made of a damping and non-slip material. This saddle comprises a system of adjustable retaining stops 4 provided so as to be just behind the knee folds of the rider and equipped with a damping system. It is in damped contact over its entire lower surface on the back of the horse.
