A saw-chain guide device for a chain saw has an end face on in each case two side plates which are arranged adjacent to the drive pinion of the chain saw and come to lie directly adjacent to the tooth-crest rim of the drive pinion of the chain saw, while the end marginal section, which runs via the end face and along the tooth-crest circle of the drive pinion, is integrally connected to at least one of the side plates, which are opposite the outer side of the chain saw. |
