PURPOSE:To permit easy and quick setting of various kinds of time such as present time or alarm time and to decrease the misoperation in the stage of numeric inputting by updating successively the assignment of the digit position for setting the time in the sequence corresponding to the kind of time information at every end of setting of the numerical value by operating the numeric keys. CONSTITUTION:The operator operates first a mode assigning key 1e to select preliminarily (s) an alarm time mode if the display in a display part 17 does not indicate the alarm time in an example of the key operation and the display in the display part 17 in the case of correcting alarm time ''6:30A.M.'' to ''7:25P.M''. The content of a mode memory 8 in this stage is 1. Then the operator operates reset key 1g which assigns the set mode. The operators operates successively thereafter a change-over assigning key 1a, shift key 1c, numeric keys ''7'', ''2'' and ''5''. The display state in the part 17 changes like (t)-(y) ''7:25P.M'' is set. The set key 1f for releasing the assignment of the set mode is operated after the above-mentioned operation, by which the flickering in the part 17 is released (z). |
