An archer's bow (10) with intermediately pivoted limbs comprises a handle riser assembly (11), a pair of substantially identical elongate resilient limbs (17) and a bowstring (19) which is coupled between the limbs' outer tips (18). Each limb (17) is connected to the riser (11) by an inelastic tether (22) and by a pair of trunnions (24) which are carried by the rear face (23) of the limbs (17) and are disposed on opposite sides of a gudgeon (25) formed at the end of the riser (11), whereby the trunnions (24) and the gudgeon (25) are rotably coupled by a hinge pin (26). |
