Monovalent heat pumps with air as the energy source

By means of two evaporation circuits which can be periodically changed over, with one working as the evaporator while the other is defrosted at this time, it becomes possible to maintain the heat pump operation all year (i.e. without additional gas or oil heating). The energy required for the defrosting is taken from the heat pump circuit without reducing the performance of the heat pump.
