Method for producing a multi-circle microwave bandpass filter, especially for the millimetric waveband

An aluminium core (K) having the dimensions of the desired waveguide is notched in a round circular manner at intervals (I nu ). The depth and width of the notches determine the diameter (d) and the thickness (t nu -1; nu ) of the perforating apertures between the individual circles of the subsequent filter. The aluminium core is copper-coated and is subsequently etched out using sodium-hydroxide solution. The impedance of the perforating apertures is preferably set only via the thickness (t nu -1; nu ), with a diameter (d) of constant size (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
