PURPOSE:To well clean the inner wall of a neck by providing a drainage pipe at the outside of an air vent pipe. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning water 2 in a cleaning tank 1 is always supplied from a supply port 3 provided at the lower part of the cleaning tank 1 and always overflows from the cleaning tank 1 and then is discharged from a drainage port 5 through a recovery tank 4. An air vent pipe 7 that removes the air of the cathode-ray tube when the neck 6 of a cathode-ray tube is dipped in the cleaning water 2, is provided in the cleaning tank 1. A drainage pipe 8 is provided at the outside of the air vent pipe 7. As a result, when the neck 6 is dipped in the cleaning water 2, since the cleaning water 2 in the neck 6 always overflows in the drainage pipe 8 and is always replaced with new water, foreign matters are not left in the neck 6 and the inner wall of the neck 6 is exceedingly well cleaned. |
