COLOR SOLID-STATE IMAGE SENSING ELEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To prevent the exfoliation of a color filter by convexly forming a light transmitting resin film into the concave section of the light receiving surface of the image sensing element and shaping the filter. CONSTITUTION:Photo-curing resin 10 is applied to the light receiving surface of the interline type solid-state image sensing element 4, and cured in convex pattern form through proximity or projection exposure by using a photo-mask 21. Gelatin patterns are shaped onto the resin film patterns 10' of sections corresponding to photodiodes forming the first color filter components and colored, and filter components 6G are shaped. A transparent isolation layer 7 is formed to the whole surface of the light receiving surface, and the second color filter components 6R' are shaped. The transparent isolation layer 7 is molded to the whole surface of the light receiving surface again, and the third color filter components 6B'' are formed.
