The planting unit has a storage funnel (16) for filling earth which issues into a vertical transport tube (17). A feed tube (19) for the plants passes through the funnel and the transport tube. Between the transport tube and the feed tube is a gap (20) containing an adjustable feed screw (21) for filling earth. At the bottom of the transport tube (17) is a shaping cone (18) for the filling earth, and exerting pressure around the plant root ball. |
