PURPOSE:To facilitate the spreading of an offset preventing oil and the exchange and reuse of a cleaning member by passing a toner-attached sheet between a pair of pressing rollers fed with the oil, and pressing the sheet or further heating it to fix a toner image to the sheet. CONSTITUTION:An offset preventing oil spreading member 9 impregnated with the oil and a roller cleaning member 13 are exchangeably held in one body with a holding frame. The cleaning member 13 is pressed into contact with a roller 2 by a force stronger than the member 9 is pressed. Therefore, the member 9 can be easily exchanged and at the same time, the member 13 is also exchanged. The member 13 cleans the surface of the roller 2 and prevents the member 9 from impairing the function of the member 9 for spreading the oil on the roller 2 surface due to staining of the member 9. The roller fixing device is composed thus simply and compactly, and the oil feed function is prevented from being impaired by staining of the member 9, and both of the members 9 and 13 can be easily exchanged. |
