PURPOSE:To facilitate the start of rotating by disposing an auxiliary pole of a permanent magnet near a rotor of a permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical permanent magnet rotor 1 and a stator core 3 magnetized in two poles are provided perpendicularly to a rotational shaft, and an armature winding is wound on the core 3 to form a synchronous motor. In this case, auxiliary poles 10a, 10b formed of permanent magnets are disposed near the rotor 1. Thus, attracting forces Fe2, Fg2 act at the points E, G between the rotor 1 and the poles 10a, 10b, repelling forces Fe1, Fg1 act between the ends 3a, 3b of the stator and the poles 10a, 10b, and the rotor is started to rotate by the composite forces Fe, Fg. |
