PURPOSE:To enable to readily start rotating by disposing an auxiliary stator, on which an auxiliary winding is wound at the periphery, near a rotor. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is turned ON, a current flowed to an armature winding 4, and a half-rectified current is flowed by a diode 12 to auxiliary windings 11a, 11b. When poles are generated at auxiliary stators 10a, 10b, clockwise forces of couple are generated, and a stator 1 starts rotating. When the direction of the current is inverted, poles of reverse polarity are generated at the ends 3a, 3b of the stator, but since the current is not flowed by the diode 12 to the windings 11a, 11b, no pole is generated at the stators 10a, 10b. Then, an attracting force is acted between the rotor 1 and the end faces 3a, 3b of the stator to accelerate the rotation. |
