MEASURING METHOD OF MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain an exact measured value without removing the materials which interferes with measurement in a liquid to be examined by correcting the measured value obtd. by setting a working electrode and a counter electrode at prescribed polarities by the measured value obtd. by reversing said polarities. CONSTITUTION:A working electrode 9 to which a biocatalyst is fixed and a counter electrode 10 to which said biocatalyst is not fixed are connected to a polarity change-over means 5 so as to have prescribed polarities. A specified voltage is impressed to both electrodes. A solvent 6 is first passed by a pump 8, then a sample soln. 7 is passed. A current value is measured in this state. The measured value A corresponds to the total amt. of the measuring material and the material which interferes with the measurement. The polarities of the electrode 9 and the electrode 10 are thereafter reversed in the stage of passing the soln. 7 and the current value is measured. The measured value B corresponding to the material which interferes the measurement is thus obtd. The value A is corrected by the value B to eliminate the influence of the material that interferes the measurement in the value A, by which the exact value corresponding to the measuring material is obtd.
