PURPOSE:To fix surely a cutting tool base to a prescribed position on a table in accordance with command coordinates of an NC control device by boring circular holes of a positioning mechanism for the cutting tool base in the prescribed position with a high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:An engaging part 17 is inserted in a T-shaped groove 18 so that the fitting part 17 of a rod member 16 is put in a circular hole 34 of a top face opening part 32 of the groove 18. The rod member 16 is rotated through a prescribed angle to contact both longitudinally extending side edge parts of an engaging convex part 20 with both inner side walls formed in the groove 18 so as to increase its width, thereby the convex part 20 being fixed in the groove 18. A table 14 and a cutting tool base 12 are thereafter pressed to be cramped with each other by fastening a bolt 30, whereby the base 12 is fixed to a prescribed position of the table 14. |
