PURPOSE:To prevent troubles with adherence of ink by scraping ink adhered to a sub-roll by a method in which an ink scraper is provided to a reciprocally movable block supported movably on a guide rail in parallel with the sub-roll and reciprocally moved. CONSTITUTION:When a reversibly turnable motor 32 is driven, a reciprocally movable block 22 moves along a sub-roll 15, and an ink scraper 40 slidably contacts with the sub-roll 15. Ink adhered or to be adhered to the sub-roll 15 is scraped away by the ink scraper 40 and put into a basket 42. When the block 22 reaches the moving end of any one of the ink scrapers 20, a limit switch 34 or 35 is actuated by a dog 36 to reversely turn the motor 32. When the motor 32 is driven continuously at an adequate interval of time, the ink adhered to the sub- roll 15 can be removed out without stopping the printing. |
