<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the high desulfurization efficiency, and to eliminate the secondary public nuisance due to a reaction by-product by slurrying powder recovered from a semidry method using a Ca desulfurizing agent, and desulfurizing in a furnace with the slurry. CONSTITUTION:A slurry of a Ca desulfurizing agent from a regulation tank 6 is sprayed into a desulfurizing apparatus 3 from a spray nozzle 31 to react with a waste gas. The powder contg. reaction products, CaSO4, CaSO3, and CaCO3 and an unreacted desulfurizing agent is recovered by a bag filter 4, introduced into a slurry regulating tank 8, and mixed with water to be reslurried. The regenerated slurry is sprayed into a boiler 1 from a spray nozzle 12. The powdery reaction product generated from the desulfurization in the furnace is collected together with the burnt ash of pulverized coal by an electrical dust collector 2, and removed from the waste gas.</p> |
