PURPOSE:To obtain a tape cassette with which a same driving state is obtained between sides A and B of a tape by securing a same angle between a tape guide part and a support reference surface in both drive modes of sides A and B. CONSTITUTION:The junction surface between an upper half case 1' and a lower half case 1 forms a taper having the thickness reduced in the right direction as shown in the figure. At the same time, a taper sequentially reducing its thickness toward the right as shown in the figure is formed to the upper and lower sides of a tape guide block 25. The cases 1' and 1 and the block 25 having such forms are assembled. In this case, an angle thetaA of a tape guide part to a support reference surface A consisting of support reference surfaces 17, 18 and 20 and an angle thetaB of the tape guide part to a support reference surface B consisting of reference surfaces 17' 18' and 20' are set at about 90 deg.+alpha or 90 deg.-alpha (alpha>0). Here the project height of the surfaces 20, 20', etc. is adjusted finely when necessary. Thus it is possible to give a fine adjustment to the fall angle of the tape guide part to th surface A or B. |
