PURPOSE:To attain the simplicity of constitution and to quicken the processing speed by correcting an estimated value peculiar to an echo path by means of an integer power of 2 to attain the approximation to the corrected value by means of the learning identification. CONSTITUTION:Each tap output of a register 30 to which an input signal X(k) is stored is given to multipliers 311-31n. Further, the output is given also to multipliers 351-35n, where the 2nd power is calculated and added and outputted as a normal value NR. The normal value NR is given to a priority encoder 37 to control the direction of shift and the amount of shift of the 1st and 2nd shift registers 32, 33. Then a correcting value DELTAH'(k) of the tap coefficient is obtained, and this correcting value DELTAH'(k) and the tap coefficient H(k) are added by adders 341-34n to output a new tap coefficient value H(k+1). |
