PRODUCTION OF CONNECTION INFORMATION FOR ELECTRIC WIRE PREPARATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To save the labor for designing and also to shorten a designing time by setting an external terminal stage symbol on a connection wire in order to perform the automatic recognition of the product number of the terminal of said terminal stage and then automatic numbering of terminal symbol. CONSTITUTION:The tool and tentative terminal symbols are provided on the surface outside of coordinates, and the symbol terminals are connected with a segment. Then an external terminal stage symbol is set on the connection wire. A computer extracts a segment out of the graphic data on a circuit diagram and recognizes the groups of the same potential to allot the group numbers to the segments for each same potential. The product number of a tool terminal existing at the coordinates of the edge of the same potential group segment is extracted out of a terminal matrix. This product number is allotted to the initiation terminal of the segment to produce an external terminal file. The numbering is carried out within the same products in the order of arrangement of terminals of said terminal file. Thus the terminal symbol is automatically decided. This data is delivered in a list to produce an inter-board connection table and then a intra-board connection data.
