The horns (3, 4, 5, 6) have, in their portions which face one another, a groove (10, 10a) arranged in order to receive and allow to glide inside it, on the one hand, one end of a sprung bar (14) for fixing the strap (2) to the watch (1) and, on the other hand, a border portion (15) of the strap. A housing is provided in this groove (10, 10a) for receiving the end of the sprung bar (14) when it arrives in front of it, in order to fix the strap. This arrangement ensures that the end portions of the strap (2) follow the profile imposed by the shape of the said groove (10, 10a), thus achieving harmonious coupling of the shape of the profile of the strap in place on the watch with the profile of the watch. <IMAGE>
