The antidote-containing herbicide is characterised in that it contains at least one of the herbicidal active substances selected from the thiolcarbamate, substituted urea, substituted triazine or chloroacetanilide types, or a mixture of these, and at least one antidote of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which X<1> represents an oxygen, sulphur or nitrogen atom, n1 denotes 0 or 1, X<2> and X<3> can be identical or different and in each case represent a hydroxyl, C1-5 alkoxy, C2-5 alkenyloxy, amino, C1-4 alkylamino or 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-oxazolidine group, n2 denotes 0 or 1, and Z denotes a C1-4 alkylene, C2-4 alkenylene, phenylene, tetrahydrophenylene, hexahydrophenylene or endomethylenetetrahydrophenylene group.
