PURPOSE:To enable to print on the surface of a passbook the same kind of account as that of a completely filled-up passbook and to issue the passbook thus printed, by a method wherein the kind of account is printed on a passbook medium fed from a supplying part in accordance with a command from an account kind commanding means, and the new passbook is issued. CONSTITUTION:When a completely filled-up passbook 10 is inserted into an inserting port 9, a feeding roller R2 is driven in response to the detection of the passbook 10 by a sensor S1, whereby the passbook 10 is fed into the device. Next, the kind of account or the like is read by a magnetic head H2, and is stored in a controlling part 12. Further, the passbook 10 is fed to a printing part 5, where predetermined printing for indicating the completion of use is performed on the passbook 10, and the passbook 10 is returned to an issuing port 8. When this return is detected by the sensor S1, a driving belt 4a and the roller R2 are rotated by a command from the controlling part 12, whereby a new passbook 11 is let out from a passbook-supplying part 2, and is fed to the printing part 5 through a feeding passage 3. At the printing part 5, a printing-controlling part 13 is started to print dealing data such as the balance of deposit on an interleaf by a printing head 6 and to print the depositor's name, the account number, the kind of account or the like by a printing head 7, and the new passbook 11 is issued through the inserting port 8. |
