PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a picture processor by recognizing the input handwritten character symbols and adding these character symbols to the read pictures, outputting it. CONSTITUTION:A control part 60 reads the picture of an original via an original processor 67 and stores the handwritten characters equivalent to a single character and received from an operation part 100 into a RAM 60b. Then the part 60 recognizes the characters stored in the RAM 60b and adds these recognized character symbols to the desired positions of the picture of the original for formation of an output picture. As a result, various character symbols can be added to the output picture. |
