PURPOSE:To obtain a spiral body whose cross-sectional shape does not deform even if a cross-sectional height of an article is higher as compared with a thickness of the same, by moving a semimolten synthetic resin material in the direction of shaft center while it is being wound up on a core metal by making an extruding speed of a part of the material becoming an external circumferential side fast. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin material (a) having a rectangular and hollow cross section is extruded, molded and supplied to the external circumference of a core metal 1 which is being used conventionally for manufacturing a spiral tube by a supply device 2 of a synthetic resin material. As for the synthetic resin material (a) to be sent out from the supply device 2, a part (e) of the material (a) which becomes an external circumferential side when the material (a) is wound around the core metal 1 is extruded and molded at a speed faster than that of a part (f) of the same becoming an inner circumferential side, and the material is being wound around the core metal 1 by abutting against the core metal 1 by drawing an arc from the supply device 2. With this construction, a problem, through which a cross-sectional shape is deformed as the inner circumferential side is wrinkled when the material (a) is wound around the core metal 1, is not generated. |
