<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability by providing cursor jump buttons and a maximum movement quantity setting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of an X-axis sensor 11 and a Y-axis sensor 12 are two-phase pulse signal corresponding to the quantities of movement in respective coordinate directions and they are inputted to the X-axis counter 21 and Y-axis counter 22 in a control part 2 respectively, so that the quantities of movement are held as count data respectively. Further, when a button 13 for indicating the jump of a cursor to a left upper position on the screen or a button 14 for indicating the jump to a right lower position is pressed, the maximum movement quantity setting circuit 23 sets a plus or minus maximum movement quantity in the X-axis counter 21 and Y-axis counter 22. Then an interface part 3 sends out data on them to a host system 4. Consequently, the cursor is jumped directly to a specific position (left upper or right lower position) by pressing a button and the operability is improved.</p> |
