摘要 PURPOSE:To permit a video signal missing section not to do harm practically even in the slow reproduction by allowing a rotary magnetic head to be displaced asymmetrically to a midpoint and controlling a displacement jump amount so as to satisfy a fixed condition. CONSTITUTION:A reproduced FM modulation video signal from the rotary magnetic head 1 is demodulated by an FM demodulator 5, a vertical synchronizing signal VPB is separated at synchronous separation stages 6,7 and the result is fed to a phase comparator 8. On the other hand, a vertical synchronizing signal Vref separated from a reference video signal applied to a terminal 9 is fed also to the phase comparator 8, where the phase is compared and a phase difference output is fed to an adder 13 via a level adjusting device 12. A tape speed detecting signal -2/3X and a constant signal 5/2 are fed additionally to the adder 13. The output of addition is A/D-converted and fed to a bimorph drive circuit 19 as a jump command signal so as to drive a bimorph 20, causing the scanning direction of the rotary magnetic head 1 to be displaced nearly orthogonal to a magnetic tape.
