PURPOSE:The titled blend having raised safety and improved taste, obtained by blending an agent for counteracting mutagenesis comprising a pharmaceutical preparation of a germ consisting of malt, soybean, rice bran or an extracted fraction of them with a tasty drink component. CONSTITUTION:For example, coffee such as coffee bean, or ground coffee bean is blended with 0.25-2.5mg (usually based on coffee concentration for drinking) malt powder, soybean powder or rice bran, or 0.05-0.5mg powder of extracted fraction of malt, soybean or rice bran. Consequently, about 50-100% mutagenesis caused by Salmonella typhimurium TA 100 strain of coffee will go out. |
