PURPOSE:To achieve high speed exchange by inserting a shield board between both bobbins when forming a package of predetermined winding onto one bobbin on two set of bobbin holders provided on a rotatable turret and exchanging to the other empty bobbin. CONSTITUTION:Upon formation of package P having predetermined winding onto a bobbin B1, a turret 6 will start rotation thus to start exchange of string. In other word, an empty bobbin B2 and fully-wound bobbin B1 are driven forcefully then a string is caught at the string catching section of the empty bobbin B2 through function of string removal and shifting mechanism to cut the string continuous between the package P and the empty bobbin B2 thus to exchange the string to the empty bobbin B2 side. At the same time, cylinders 12, 13 will function to bring the first shielding board 19 between the package P and the empty bobbin B2 to separate them. Thereafter, second shielding board 21 is advanced by the cylinder 20 along the first shielding board 19 to prevent winding of string end Y to the empty bobbin B2 side. |
