摘要 PURPOSE:To determine measurement points in a dark tank and to measure the volume thereof quickly and accurately without errors by irradiating and collimating the inside walls of the side walls of the tank irradiated with one unit of laser theodolite by means of the other one unit of the laser theodolite. CONSTITUTION:The inside circumference of the side plate I in the lowermost layer of a tank 1 to be measured is approximately trisected, and mounting positions A0-C0 of laser theodolites are determined. For example, stands A', B', C' for magnet type laser theodolites are mounted respectively on the inside wall of the tank. Laser theodolites A, B are placed respectively on the stands A', B' in the side plates of the two positions A0, B0 among these, and are collimated in conformity with the measuring points A1, B1 mounted beforehand to the respective stands. Spot light source type marks are used for the respective measuring points. The plane coordinates at the measurement point 31 of each of the respective side plates on the vertical line Gn running through the division points Pn in the ranges Z5, Z6, Z7 of the 1/3 circumferences apart furthest respectively from three ground lines A1B1, C1A1, B1C1, that is, P1-P3, P4-P6, P7-P9 are determined from the horizontal angles alpha, beta:alpha', beta':alpha'', beta'' to the respective lines A1B1, C1A1, R1C1. The plane coordinates for one ground lines, for example, the lines C1A1 and B1C1 other than the line A1B1 are subjected to oordinate transformation, and the radii of optimum circles are calculated by a method of least squares for each of level in conjunction with the plane values measured in the position of the line A1B1. From the known heights H of the side plates in the respective layers, the volume by each layer is determined then the volume over the entire part of the tank is calculated.
