PURPOSE:To operate a vehicle stably even in the running state like a slalom by switching from manual steering to power steering or vice versa. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid valve S is at closed position, a ring gear 5 is turned when a steering wheel 1 is turned, and a spool 12 is switched to either right or left by the connecting pin 11. When the spool 12 is switched, pressure oil from a pump P flows into either left chamber 7a or right chamber 7b of the power cylinder 7, and a power steering results. When the solenoid valve S is switched to opened position, pressure oil from the pump P flows into reaction chamber 13 and 14, and thereby the spool 12 does not work even when the wheel 1 is turned and a manual steering results. |
