PURPOSE:To absorb a change of torque, by providing a selector device, which controls an auxiliary clutch to be selected in its slipping condition and direct coupling condition in response to the throttle opening of an engine, in the auxiliary clutch. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary clutch 19 provides a selector device 33 which operates in response to the throttle opening of an engine. Then the auxiliary clutch 19 is placed in its slipping condition in the low opening range of a throttle while in the direct coupling condition in the high opening range of the throtle. In this way, a change of relatively large torque for the steady torque 7 can be effectively absorbed by the slipping of the auxiliary clutch 19. Accordingly, the change of torque can be prevented from being transmitted to the side of a driven wheel. |
