The invention relates to a device for the dismantlable fixing of wing mirrors on vehicles, constituted by an armature on which the wing mirror is mounted, the said armature comprising points for bearing on the wing of the vehicle. According to the invention, the device comprises, moreover, a flexible link 10 which extends transversely above the bonnet 15 of the vehicle and which is coupled in a dismantlable manner by each of its ends to the two wing edges 8, 8' by means of a hooking member 6, 13 in such a manner as to be taut between them, the said flexible link 10 interacting with the said armature 4 in order to maintain the abovementioned bearing points flat against the wing 7 of the vehicle. Application to the manufacture of wing mirrors for vehicles intended to tow a caravan or a trailer. <IMAGE>
